Banff Upper Hot Springs

Banff National Park

The Banff Upper Hot Springs is the most popular hot spring in the Canadian Rockies. Travelers have been visiting these hot springs for pleasure and therapy for over a century.

"The hot pool is outdoors overlooking the Bow Valley and Rundle Mountain."

The main building attached to the pool has been restored to resemble a 1930's heritage bathhouse. The water is a clear blue color, averages 40° C (104° F) and is drained and cleaned every night. A sitting area is located above the pool for those who prefer not to swim but who would like to watch their families. The facility is run by Parks Canada and is open daily throughout the year.

Pleaides Massage and Spa, a full service day spa, offers message therapy, steam room, aromatherapy, hot plunge pool and aesthetics.
