By Bus

Banff National Park

Greyhound provides bus service to many towns and cities throughout Canada, Mexico and the United States with links to Calgary, the nearest gateway city to Banff National Park.

From Calgary

Greyhound runs four times daily from the depot at Greyhound Way S.W., Calgary to Canmore and Banff ($23 CDN).

From Vancouver

Greyhound runs three times daily to Banff ($117.00 CDN). The main Greyhound route from Vancouver follows the Trans-Canada Highway to Golden, Field and Banff. A southern route on Highway 3 passes through Cranbrook, Radium Hot Springs and Banff. The main bus depot is at Pacific Central Station VIA Rail Station(1), 1150 Station Street, Vancouver.

From the United States

From the Greyhound depot in Great Falls, Montana (326-1st Avenue South #2) continue north to the joint port of entry at Sweetgrass, Montana/Coutts, Alberta where you can change to a Canadian Greyhound bus for Calgary and make connections to Banff.
