Renting a mountain bike in the Town of Banff is easy. The Ski Shop and Bactrax Bike Rentals offer a full range of quality bike rentals at reasonable prices. Make your reservation early to ensure you get the bike you want.
The Ski Stop
The Ski Stop has the best selection of hard tail and full suspension mountain bikes in Banff. Their rental fleet includes quality mountain bikes from Giant, Klein and Devinci. They also carry a full suspension Giant Morph mountain bike for kids (7 gears with easy to use grip shift). All rentals come equipped with repair kits, pumps and maps to show you where to ride.
If you want to bring your own bike consider using their Bike Valet Service. For a fee of $75 they will assemble, tune and lube your bike. When you're ready to leave they will disassemble and pack-up your bike, ready for shipping home. They even provide instructions on how to prepare your shipping and custom declaration forms. You are responsible for the shipping costs.
Summer Rates: $9 per hour/$31.50 per day for hard tails; $10 per hour/$35 per day for full suspension.

Bactrax Bike Rentals
Bactrax rents Norco mountain bikes for easy trails, moderate trails and town riding. They have the best selection of mountain bikes for kids including a "tag-along bike" for very young riders. Each rental includes a helmet, lock, pant strap, and map.
Summer Rates: Trail bikes for adults start at $10 per hour or $36 per day; trail bikes for kids start at $5 per hour or $19 per day.
